Associate Producer

RLMG is currently seeking an associate producer to join our collaborative team to assist in creating a range of digital media. RLMG is an acclaimed digital design studio specializing in interactive installations, films and custom applications for public spaces. We collaborate with museums, institutions and other cultural organizations to translate content and collections into meaningful and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in content development for media exhibits on a wide variety of topics, including science, history, art, culture, sports, and natural history
  • Source, track, document, and license the visual assets used to create a wide range of media
  • Assist in project management
  • Provide administrative and operations support as needed

Qualifications

  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good writing skills
  • Video editing and camera skills a plus

Interactive Media Designer / Graphic Designer

RLMG is currently seeking a talented interactive / graphic designer to join our collaborative team to create visual solutions for a range of digital media. RLMG is an acclaimed digital design studio specializing in interactive installations, films and custom applications for public spaces. We collaborate with museums, institutions and other cultural organizations to translate content and collections into meaningful and memorable experiences. As part of the design team, you will be involved in developing, iterating and executing design solutions for a diverse range of interactive media and digital experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, motion designers and UX specialists to develop appropriate visual design approaches
  • Create effective, compelling, well crafted, visual design systems
  • Brainstorm and wireframe intelligent UI solutions
  • Contribute to and produce process books (and other documents) for client submittals
  • Communicate with developers to create production-ready assets for development and to ensure the integrity of visual design

Qualifications

  • Design degree (graphic, interaction, communication, media or other related field)
  • 2+ years of professional work experience in graphic and/or interaction design preferred
  • Strong portfolio
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail, typographic refinement, and pixel-perfect design
  • Expert time management skills
  • High-level proficiency with Adobe design software including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
  • Experience in 3-D, illustration, animation and/or motion graphics is a plus!

Software Developer

RLMG is looking for a talented software developer to join our team in creating engaging, inspiring and usable applications for museum environments. You should be enthusiastic about new and innovative media technology solutions, a creative problem-solver, and have strong communications skills.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • A developer with a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience programming in Unity for both 3d and 2d applications.
  • Able to implement sharable code, optimize media and content heavy apps, use version control, generate app specific documentation, install/deploy at client locations.
  • Enthusiastic about facing new technology challenges including working with complex hardware configurations, networked applications, and multiscreen displays.
  • A team player that can work successfully with other developers, designers, producers, and hardware integrators.
  • Highly visual with a strong attention to detail.

Experience with the following is a plus:

Networking, Microsoft Kinect, Javascript, GitHub, Beanstalk, Unfuddle, SourceTree, Avocode, C++, Android, Objective C, XML, JSON, Arduino, Processing, Raspberry Pi, Python, Node.js, SQL, WordPress, Photoshop, and Sketch.
