007 Science: Inventing the World of Bond

Gravity and air resistance. Torque and angular velocity. James and Bond. RLMG’s media for the first-ever exhibition exploring the science and technology of this storied franchise gives visitors a fresh way of looking at Bond’s incredible stunts and gadgets. The exhibit proved so popular the Museum extended its run.

Build a Bond Car

Part of the “wow factor” behind Bond’s gadgets and stunts is that they’re based in real-world science and exaggerated for entertainment. At Build A Bond Car, visitors can reengineer the iconic Aston Martin, exploring features like ejector seats, biometric security, and rocket launchers. Another interactive challenges them to replicate Bond’s most famous stunt by adjusting variables such as speed, ramp angles, and rotation. As they test stunts, visitors find out what’s possible with real physics and what is “only in the movies!”
