The WaterShed

The Boise WaterShed wanted to address climate change, a growing threat to Idaho’s water supply, in their newly renovated center. The goal? Engage visitors, particularly kids, without overwhelming them. RLMG’s vibrant animations and absorbing interactives balance urgency with action. The message: climate change is real, but so is your power to make a difference.

Sustainable Boise

RLMG turned to the experts—kids—to help shape Sustainable Boise. The stunning 25-foot installation puts visitors in charge of the city’s future as they investigate green energy, transportation, and water conservation. Prototyping and testing guided the design of the illustrated cityscape, which feature arcade-style controls at the input stations. Technically sophisticated yet fun and easy to use, Sustainable Boise encourages hands-on exploration while delivering real insights.

Let there be snow! At the exuberant Snow Theater, visitors dance to start flakes falling, playfully illustrating the importance of the snowpack as a source of fresh water. Personal actions fuel collective momentum at the Pledge Wall, where visitors select a climate-friendly pledge, snap a selfie, and watch their commitment flow into an expansive 10-screen digital river. Shaped by community listening sessions and designed for intuitive interaction, the Pledge Wall vividly demonstrates that individual efforts power collective progress.
